زقّورة الإله أنليل في نفّر

تقع على بعد 150 كم جنوب شرق بغداد في العراق، وقد كانت
نفّر تقع في قلب مقاطعة سومر في الألف الثالث ق.م. وبالإضافة لكونها مركزا لدويلة مدن فإنّها لعبت دورا خاصّا كمدينة دينيّة في حياة بلاد سومر ومركزا لعبادة الإله أنليل.

The Ziggurat of Enlil at Nippur

Situated 150 kilometers southeast of Baghdad in Iraq, Nippur was centrally placed in the territory of the Sumer. in the 3rd millennium BC. As well as being the center of a city-state it played a special role in the life of Sumer as a religious city, centre of the worship of the god Enlil.
