Abstract
The aim of this paper is to shed a light on a child burial to understand how
different approaches of interpretation look at this archeological feature. It is an
attempt to apply methodological framework of the theoretical approaches of
understanding and interpreting archaeological date. The analysis and
interpretation of such feature differs from cultural history approach to
Processual approach to Post-Processual Believe Systems approach. These Data
come from a joint- excavation project of the University of Stony Brook and the
State Board of Antiquities and Heritage at Tell Sakhariyah (2012) in southern
Iraq (Dhiqar province).
